Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is all about the experience, the quiet and contemplative practice.
Combining teachings of Chinese Medicine with traditional Asana practice to formulate a slow paced practice where the poses are held for longer, are less about strict alignment and more about finding felt sensations in the intended area.

Good for ; applying a controlled moderate “stress” to the deeper connective tissues of the body rather than the muscles. Improving and increasing the circulation of blood flow and energy throughout the body.
Realising stress and tension from body and mind.
Yoga Nidra
"The Yogic Sleep"
Yoga Nidra is a form of deep rest with out the need for physical sleep, it is, in a way, a form of guided meditation for effortless relaxation.

Yoga Nidra brings together the unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind, drawing us to a state of deep blissful awareness, surfing between wake and sleep, landing the body into a state of homeostasis ( the bodies base level of natural equilibrium).

Good for ; Reseting the nervous system. Easing feelings of stress and anxiety. Feeling rested and restored.
All Levels.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga has become known as the umbrella term for all asana
(physical pose) based practice, and most asana practice will be based upon the foundations of Hatha Yoga.

But it has a definition of its own, it is a practice that allows space and time in each pose rather than flowing rhythmic motions of other classes.

Good for ; Exploring the foundation of Yoga Asana and alignment.
Building strength, stability and balance. Improving flexibility.
A good place to start for the absolute beginner.
Flow & Vinyasa
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic practice where you move through a 'flow' of different yoga poses that are seamlessly knitted together in unison with the breath.

Flow, a facet of Vinyasa is a class that has the intention to move fluidly and seamlessly,to create a a feel of ease in body and mind.
You'll see me offering classes like (Earth Flow, Slow Flow, Gentle Flow etc)

Good for ; Building stamina, flexibility and strength, particularly in more dynamic Vin/Flow classes.
Expect to build some heat in the body.
It is good to have some understanding of Yoga as these classes can move more quickly from pose to pose.
